Last night, the third annual Social TV Awards were handed out in Los Angeles to such notable winners as Modern Family, Jimmy Fallon and…House Party! Along with our partners at Animal Planet, we’d submitted the results of this year’s Puppy Bowl VIP House Party for consideration in the “Best Special Event Social TV Award” category, and we’re extremely honored to have taken home the gold.
The Puppy Bowl VIP House Party was a special one for us. In addition to choosing 1,000 great Puppy Bowl advocates as official “Home Team” hosts, we also empowered all applicants to host their own “Tailgater” parties; although these tailgaters didn’t receive physical Party Packs, they did get access to their own party pages and exclusive party favors and sweepstakes opportunities. This unique activation helped make Puppy Bowl X the biggest one yet, driving over 40 million impressions, almost half a million social media posts and double-digit lifts in branding metrics like favorability and advocacy-intent.
